Future Impact: Jeffrey W. Stimmell, Scholarship Recipient

In 2010, I graduated from Hillsdale High School and decided to attend The Ohio State University in Columbus to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural and Extension Education. During my time searching for where I wanted to be, I was fortunate enough to apply for many of the scholarships held by the Ashland County Community Foundation. Through the Foundation, I received almost $4,000 in scholarships for my first year. At the time I was thankful, but looking back on my time at Ohio State, I gain more and more gratitude for the generosity of your organization and donors. Now that I have completed my degree in Agricultural Science Education, I truly see how much the support of my community has helped over the years, financially and emotionally.

Thank you again for all of your support over the years. I wanted to write and express my thanks for all of your help making it through this journey. I hope to stay in touch in the future to continue giving such great opportunities to the students in Ashland County.
