The Ashland County Community Foundation is committed to carrying out our mission of connecting people who care with causes that matter, thereby improving life in our county and beyond. The Foundation awards competitive grants each year to nonprofits and other qualifying organizations through various grantmaking programs.

Our competitive grant programs are detailed below, to include a view-only version of the online application form for your information. Should you wish to apply for any grant, you will need to create an account and log in to our Online Grants System.

Please note:

  • Grant support is provided for capital campaigns, building/renovation, equipment, project grants, program development, seed money and matching/challenge grants
  • Grant support is not provided for grants to individuals, ongoing operating expenses, annual campaigns, existing endowment funds not held at ACCF, cash reserves, debt reduction, or religious organizations for religious purposes

Community Grants are competitive grants awarded to 501(c)(3) and other qualifying charitable organizations that contribute to the community-wide benefit.

  • First-time applicants are required to interview with ACCF staff prior to application submission.
  • Application deadline: September 1 (with award notification by November 1)
  • Following application review, the Grants Committee may request an interview with the grant applicant. (This will be communicated via email.)

Teacher Mini-Grants are competitive grants awarded to teachers grades K-12 in accredited Ashland County public and private schools. Grants are intended to foster educational innovation by funding creative ideas NOT supported by school budgets.

IMPACT Youth Grants are competitive grants awarded to 501(c)(3) and other qualifying charitable organizations in support of projects and initiatives specifically designed to benefit the youth of Ashland County.

  • Application deadline: February 1 (with award notification by April 1)
  • Following application review, the IMPACT Youth Council may request an interview with the grant applicant. (This will be communicated via email.)
  • Application will be available November 1, 2018

Women’s Fund Grants are competitive grants awarded to 501(c)(3) and other qualifying charitable organizations in support of programs and projects that specifically benefit women in Ashland County. First-time applicants are required to interview with ACCF staff prior to application submission.
