Community Grants

The Ashland County Community Foundation's Community Grants Program is focused on strengthening our charitable partners in Ashland County. Nonprofit entities carrying a 501(c)(3) IRS designation, or other "qualified" organizations, may petition ACCF for financial assistance in meeting their goals.

Once each year, ACCF reviews these requests and makes grant awards, based on established criteria. These annual distributions are made possible through the generosity of our donors making unrestricted gifts, so that dollars may be directed where the needs are greatest in Ashland County.

Opportunities currently exist for businesses or individuals to create named funds, specifically earmarked for Community Grants. Please contact ACCF staff for additional information.

Community Grants are competitive grants awarded to 501(c)(3) and other qualifying charitable organizations contributing to the community-wide benefit.

Grants are made in the fields of arts and culture, community progress, education, health and human services, and environment.
